The experience we would expect the ideal person to deliver is: SUMMARY OF ROLE To Inline tool process engineering owner. Handles and improve mechanical yield, cost reduction initiatives, OEE, SPC and updates thru weekly reports to management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Engages and works closely with manufacturing supervisors/specialists, process and equipment technicians to resolve daily line issues and line sustaining Provides first level engineering support for equipment issues and involves in engineering projects such as cost reduction, OEE improvement, second sourcing, yield & reliability improvement and new line/equipment startup. Reviews equipment’s data log, errors & SPC to ensure equipment are always in control and develop necessary PM procedures, OCAPs and etc. Provides Equipment and PM Technicians capability improvement, and plans for training programs To sustain and monitor in line tool process every day. To maintain and achieve good mechanical yield improvement and initiative on conducting cost savings activities Improvement project to meet OEE and yield for department Engages and works closely with manufacturing supervisors/specialists, process and equipment technicians to resolve daily line issues and line sustaining Provides first level engineering support for equipment issues and involves in engineering projects such as cost reduction, OEE improvement, second sourcing, yield & reliability improvement and new line/equipment startup. To maintain and achieve good mechanical yield improvement and initiative on conducting cost savings activities Improvement project to meet OEE and yield for department Improvement project to reduce repair and maintenance cost RELATED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS * Degree (B.S. / B.Eng.) or higher. Prefer to be major in photovoltaic, electrical engineering, physics, chemical engineering, material science or related field Experience in wafer cell manufacturing, wafer fabrication or PV Cells/Module manufacturing background preferred. Minimum 5 year experience in plating/etching process. Fresh graduate with good CGPA also are welcome. Demonstrated ability to handle projects and follow them through to completion with minimum supervision Meets and reduces the cost in chemicals, wafers and other consumables in production lines using Data analysis, & Engineering evaluations and characterizations. Basic understanding of problem solving tools (FMEA, 5 whys, 8D & etc), systematic approach with a quality mindset. Ability to think out of the box, perform risk analysis and mitigation and manage changes Good team player with good communication and negotiation skills Knowledge on the plating and etching process Knowledge in PLC Knowledge and experience in using SPC system and SPC tools. Knowledge and skills in using FMEA, 8D-RCCA, and other problem solving analysis. With good presentation skills With strong negotiation skills. Computer literate Demonstrated communications skill for interfacing with internal engineering and manufacturing group Knowledge and experience in using DOE and other Statistical analysis (Split Lot comparison, Soft Turn On/Passive data collection) using JMP software. Knowledge and experience in using SPC systems and SPC tools. Knowledge of electroplating technology and manufacturing process both chemically and mechanically.
