SUMMARY OF ROLE
To full time Equipment Engineer leading the Equipment Technicians to support FAB’s goals in Safety, Quality, Yield, Delivery, Cost and Operations Excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Engages and works closely with manufacturing supervisors and process/equipment technicians to resolve daily line issues, PM scheduling and line sustaining
Provides first level engineering support for equipment issues
Involves in engineering projects such as cost reduction, OEE improvement, second source qualification, yield & reliability improvement and new line/equipment startup.
Reviews equipment’s data log, errors and SPC chart to ensure equipment are always in control and develop necessary PM procedures, OCAPs and PM SWG/Checklist.
Plans and execute training programs for equipment/PM technicians.
RELATED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS * Degree or Master Degree in the field of Photovoltaic, Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science.
Experience in wafer cell manufacturing, wafer fabrication or PV Cells/Module manufacturing background preferred.
Candidate with >3 years proven working experience can be considered for senior position
Basic understanding of problem solving tools (FMEA, 5 whys, 8D & etc), systematic approach with a quality mindset.
Ability to think out of the box, perform risk analysis and mitigation and manage changes
Good team player with good communication and negotiation skills
