Description :
To perform electrical design and documentations (schematics, BOM and motor regulations) for application and development projects.
Participate in hardware development projects linked to new company products across business unit.
Understand the process and analyse the capability of the design/control system.
Provide expertise support to manufacturing and field.
Electrical hardware design of application and development projects (schematics, panel layouts, cable run outs, network topologies, cable designations, I/O overviews, terminal references etc.)
Analysis of inquiries linked to motor regulations, power/electrical & pneumatics management system and provide technical solutions.
Analysis of inquiries related to to electromagnetic compatibility or ESD and provide technical solutions.
For new products, identify requirements and technical constraints, source for material, test, characterise and optimise their performance.
Participate in designing new motor / IO / Interface boards, PCB integration and schematics.
Identify EOL hardware products, source for replacement, test, characterize and optimize performance.
Work in close collaboration with the business unit.
Any task that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements :
Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in electrical/electronics field, including PID regulation for position control and PLC (Programmable logic Controllers) for automation or semiconductor equipment industry.
Candidate should be proficient in either one of the electrical design tools E-plan / Solidworks / E3 or Cadelec. Experience in control panel wiring and electrical installations for automation equipment.
Knowledge in motion control technologies and mechanical drive train design including the application of servo motors & pneumatics.
Possess strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Good communications skills with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Dynamic and able to work in a fast pace environment.
Able to travel up to 30% of work hours.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
