JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES :
» Generate the equipment’s software application and guarantee stcapability and compliance to customers’ specifications.
» Work closely with other engineering groups to evaluate the interface between hardware and software and the operational and performance requirements of the overall system.
» Provide software support and assistance to customers and conduct evaluation to find solutions to customers’ modification requests.
» Manage expertise/product transfer from Multitest to Cohu MY.
» Support installation & qualification at customer site.
» Conduct analysis, practiccapability, development, internal/external qualification tests and expertise transfer to other software team member.
» Any other ad-hoc assignments within the scope of main objectives.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS :
» Degree in engineering in related fields (computer science, electronics, expertise on automated systems or equivalent).
» Industrial practice in Semiconductor industry is an advantage.
» skills in C, C++, VB programming languages
» Good in database, script, user interface and multithreading programming
» skills in motion control.
» Good expertise in Windows and Linux operating system. expertise in realtime OS would be an advantage.
» Sharp problem solving skills, innovative and flexible.
» Hardworking and able to handle few projects under high pressure.
» Good English, written and spoken. expertise in German language would be an advantage.
» Communication and team work with counterparts in Germany and is willing to go overseas for training and project purposes.
» Minimum of 3 years practices as software developer. Preferred in an automation industry.
» Willing to travel up to 30% of your time.
