Family Description:
Plans facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs. Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.
Knowledge and Technical Skills:
-Applies intermediate subject matter knowledge, including principles, theories and concepts, to solve a variety of common business issues.
-Refers particularly complex issues to higher levels for resolution.
-Candidate must have good knowledge in Facilities Mechanical System, relevant to Solar Fab or Semiconductor Manufacturing industry.
-Candidate must familiar with OSH, FMA, EQA, UBBL, BOMBA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001 and relevant standards.
-Candidate must have knowledge in Class 100, 1000, 10K, 100K cleanroom standards.
-Candidate must have knowledge in SPC, FMEA, 8D, 7QC Tools, HIRAC, EASI and 5S.
-Candidate with knowledge in Auto CAD, SCADA (FMA), CMMS is an added advantages.
-Candidate must know how to use Microsoft Office, eg. Words, Excel, Power Point and excel in generating reports for management review.
-Candidate must able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

-Candidate must be physically fit and capable in carryout daily routine job with respect to plant’s requirement.

Minimum Education and Experience:
-Degree holder preferred in Mechanical field/ technical or equivalent (a Master will be an added advantage)
-Minimum 3 years’ experience in Mechanical Field preferable in Facility FAB.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in operating and maintaining the PVAC,PCW,CDA,HVAC, Scrubber and Exhaust system.
-Experience in Solar, Semiconductor manufacturing industrial site preferred.
-Good analytical and problem solving skills. 8D Methodology, FMEA and SPC.
- Experience in Toxic Gas Monitoring System (TGMS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (SCADA) is an added advantage.
Key Task And Responsibilities:
-Lead a group on Maintenance team to carry out maintenance of the Facility Mechanical System with good maintenance record for all machinery, equipment and tools. Manpower planning, supervisory and motivated in ensuring proper preventive maintenance activity is to be carryout safety, on- time manner and meeting operating needs.
-Liaison with contractor and outsource business partner to carryout routine preventive maintenance task in ensuring zero interruption to system operation.
-Establish, review, improvise operation and maintenance manual, SOP, FMEA, Control Plan, HIRAC, Work Instruction, OCAP and other relevant documentations.
-Ensuring plant operating condition is fully complying with the legal requirement at all time.
-Ensure KPI targets are met with zero interruption to the production.
-Work with production team to resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner with minimal distribution to factory output.
-Work with executive team to project budgets and timely and mange and track projects to achieve department KPI.
-Support internal audit in sustaining ISO 9001. ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and other relevant certification and support external audit including regulatory audit.
-Implement cost saving activity in supporting department goal.
-Conduct system training to Facility staff and other relevant personal.
