In your new role you will:
Administrate the Team Foundation Server platform to ensure it is running in a stable and optimum mode including interfaces with other server, systems and databases (e.g. Windows OS, Oracle database).
Provide 2nd level Support for problem investigation and root cause analysis. Implement a fix or workaround as needed.
Perform Internal Control Monitoring
Perform health checks on systems, servers, jobs and integrations
Analyse system and make recommendations for improvement based on performance and capacity reporting
Performance tuning and system maintenance
Develop scripts and jobs that helps regulate, alert and monitor system
Evaluate hot fixes, patches and product releases (including Service Pack and Version upgrades) that needs to be applied in the system for product bug fix and overall support for the system
Manage application and system releases including ensuring backup and rollback plan is in place as part of risk management
Coordinate with relevant parties for all platform changes (business, integrations, infrastructure, security) to ensure system is running stable and as per Infineon standard
Maintain system configuration and documentation.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or the equivalent skill and knowledge with 1-2 years of relevant experience Familiar with Windows server environment Good in Database knowledge (Oracle SQL query language, MS SQL) Basic development experience in C# or Java Experience in using source control systems (TFS, SVN, GIT, …) Experience in using Visual Studio or Team Foundation Server is an advantage Hands on experience on End-User Support and System Administration System configuration and documentation skills
