1. MAIN OBJECTIVES :
To support Engineering technical escalation and challenges. Enhance product technical quality improvement and reliability, as well as continuous improvement on engineering efficiency
To ensure machine delivered meet industry reliability, performance and standards criteria.
To synchronize and communicate technical changes and relevant information within Cohu MY, Cohu CH and Cohu DE Engineering.
Responsible to ensure that all engineering technical documentation is upto-date in accordance to the needs and process of machine assembly in COHU MY.
Focuses on specifications, design, capability, maintenance, manufacturing and training of the design/system.
Understand the process and analyze the capability of the design/system.
Comprehend and translate product or customer specifications into cost effective technical solutions.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES :
To work in close collaboration with other departments in Cohu MY, Cohu DE and Cohu CH to ensure machine deliver with quality and within defined lead time.
To work in close collaboration with Engineering Department with regards to technical know-how transfer of new product and technology.
To work in close collaboration with Tech Support team with regard to technical escalation, challenges and knowledge sharing.
To work in close collaboration with DnD team with regards to project/module qualification
Characterize the design/system to define the capability, limitations and improvement options.
Perform assembly, feasibility studies, validations and prototyping.
Generate the reports with measureable characteristics about the design/system including necessary documents for the system operation, maintenance and training.
Participate in the design review, DFMEA, risk and safety assessment and design/system qualifications.
Provide customer visits to solve technical problems.
Any other adhoc assignment according to business needs.
