Coordinate daily breakdown problem solving, improvement & efficiency project, assignments among technicians.
Technically provide assistance and support to technicians.
Communicate efficiently to technicians, peers and superior.
Provide machine & problem updates, solution and status.
Maintaining spare parts and consumables level.
Ensure a good safety practice among technicians and peers.
Improving and maintaining high standard of 5S.
Principal Responsibilities:
To ensure adherence to quality standards and comply to HSE and safety regulation.
To ensure and maintain good 5S practice in work place and maintenance workshop.
To communicate efficiently among peers and superior by using the communication tools provided.
Troubleshoot electrical, instrument, DC drive and PLC breakdowns.
To maintain and monitor machine spare part inventory level.
To improve downtime by complying with MDT (Mean Down Time) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure).
Execute maintenance duties as directed by engineer/manager.
Fast respond during emergency and breakdown of machines.
Communicate with the shift leaders the status of parts, equipment and any other matters that might have an impact on their job through verbal and written means.
Propose improvements and help develop new maintenance job plans & procedures
To ensure all checklist being recorded accordingly and compliance to procedure.
To comply with company procedure, rules and regulations.
To carry out multitask jobs to improve personality and productivity.
To undertake any other ad hoc duties as instructed by engineer/manager.
To schedule and coordinate maintenance technicians and lead technician activity and assignment.
Monitor, assist improve maintenance technician skill level, knowledge and review subordinate work performance.
Compile subordinate daily job activity such as breakdown records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics and test result.
To participate in budget preparation and administration, coordinating purchasing and documentation and monitoring departmental expenditures.
Assist engineer in work schedule and determining need for equipment and supplies.
Monitor and advise subordinate attitude, discipline and performance.
To prepare daily facility maintenance schedules and coordinates facility maintenance work for technician in a weekly basis.
Participate in coordinating of project and supervise contractor for machinery & equipment installation, repair work or maintenance works.
Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule program for applicable equipment and machinery.
To manage and assist in completion of day to day activities of facility job.
Inspect and follow-up facility work periodically to determine problems and take necessary action.
Authority:
Monitor, advise and take necessary action of subordinate attitude, discipline and performance.
Education:
Certificate or Diploma qualification
Experience:
Familiar Understanding on Maintenance Management System (Preventives Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Break down Maintenance).
Good technical background, experience on Maintenance Equipment and facility.
Good technical knowledge in electrical and PLC.
Minimum 5 years of strong working experience in the related field.
Experience on People Management in difference level and difference team is must.
Other Essential Attributes:
Quality awareness and scrap control is necessary for this position.
Able to work extra hours and able to work on shift.
Possess high analytical problem solving skill and with proactive attitude.
Able to read and interpret machine mechanical drawing, machine electrical and electronics drawing and service repair manuals.
Able to construct, modify and trouble shoot problems related to electrical machines and their controller.
Possess intermediate rotating machine installation, programming and diagnosis skills.
Possess minimum intermediate PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
Able to construct, troubleshoot and modify machinery electrical control.
Able to construct, diagnose and modify hydraulic and pneumatic control system and piping.
Able to perform welding, lathe and milling machining.
Preferably with sound knowledge in Microsoft Office.
Good communication skill with every level.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Possess high initiative to study new technology and flexible.
